Awning rail tool

Hello All, I need to introduce an extra feed in point for the awning bead into the caravan awning rail.Does anyone know if there is a tool available that does this job neatly, thanking you in anticipation, regards Cliff.

Towsure etc sell a tool for opening the gap but you want a tool to make slot about 2in wide I think
I borrow one from my dealer when I need to do it or if its a caravan with the softer alloy rail such as Swift placing a length of 2" x 1" timber end on against the rail slot and giving a sharp tap with a hammer on the other end does the job
Bailey awning rail seems more rigid and les malleable
The tool consists of 2 parallel flat plates the width of the slot and about 2 to 3 mm apart
Its inserted at right angles to the van side and just bent up or down to open the rail top and bottom
It needs be to quite strong steel and I have never seen one on sale
The one my dealer has is a welded DIY job that works well

Thanks for your replies, suppose I'll have to carefully do a bit of metalwork and try to copy whats already been done. Thanks again, Cliff.
