hi could somebody tell me what the rail is for thats below awning rail on a lunar appoll 1998 if its a hanging rail where could i purchase clips as i have a porch awning and i can't hang any thing up inside cause my poles are external

If its what i think you mean this could be the rail to hide the seam/Joint on the panel.

forgot to mention the rail has a v lip on it so thats why i thought it could be used as a hanger
