Awning resurrection?

the rain fell the wind blew the trees shook and our awning poles died a most painful death, in Snowdonia last week. two poles, 1 roof support and 1 upright were bent in half, and the centre plastic bracket snapped as well, replaced them with a couple of spare poles but now everything does not seem to fit very well. The Awning is an Inaca, the new bits are made by campion.

I have had a look on the web for more suitable replacements but Inaca seen to have changed their frames.

I have found complete frames by Dorema for sale , Would this be an option? To bin off the old frame and get a new one from another manufacturer?

Hello Joann, My hubby says that your Inaca awning poles are the same as Isabella poles, the fittings match. We have an Inaca sands awning and some of our poles broke after looking round we found that the Isabella fittings fit the Inaca very well. We use them now if we need to alter any poles or fittings. Try and have a look at them before you bin the inaca poles for good.

I would really like a whole new frame as the apex canopy poles were a bit bent anyway, The old Inaca poles dont fit very well into the campion bits we bought, I think they are quite old, They came with the caravan which is 1999 and newer Inaca parts may be compatible, but I would not trust ours in any kind of wind as it is now. The fabric is perfect and looks hardly used so i would not want to replace it, but I need something I can have faith in to stay up.
Does anyone know where I can buy a complete frame, I have seen them on the Dorema website with prices, but no means to buy online?

Try Discover coppull or one nearer you. I asked them for a price for a new set for our awning they came up with a price that was quite reasonable but in the end got a set from off here I just ask if anyone had some and I got lucky.

There is a discover at york which is quite near us so I might have a ride out at the weekend after next, also I found a campion fibre set of poles (after much searching) from NR awnings direct for £160 which I think is not too bad, or a steel set for £100.
