Hello Folks joined the forum yesterday and have just been to measure the ground to ground of 1998 lunar solar. This measurement is coming out at 960. A big difference than the figure in the handbook? Anyway i have been offered a NR Pullman in good condition which is a 930-960 will this be ok for my van being at the top end of the measurement? Any advic would be great.

I don't know your particular van, but perhaps NR, or Lunar may be able to offer some expert guidance.

NR does have very good customer service.

Jim.

My guess is that the awning should be ok provided that your measurements are 100% accurate. There would be more of a problem if the awning was too small.

Thanks guys, i think the only real way of finding out is to see it on the van. The people selling have given us this option and if it doesnt fit then they will take it back.

hi mark,

if the measurement you have taken is correct(960),then the awning in question will be in my opinion a bit on the tight side, especially in uneven ground as the lenght is at its limit, the next size up will be a much better fit.as you have said they have given you the option to see it on the van, just make sure the van is level and the ground itself is reasonabley level to get an accurate fit.
