Awning size

Last year we purchased our first caravan

A swift accord 570

As it didn’t come with an awning we purchased a 2nd hand one from gumtree.

Unfortunately it was not the size that it was advertised at and was too big for our caravan. We used it last year as we had no choice but the sides were angled right down and it looked pretty poor

I’m going to sell that one and buy another.

Has anyone had the same caravan and if so what awning size and make fitted best.

If you look up the caravan on here you should find the awning size quoted in the brochure. The brochures normally cover the whole range for that year rather than individual models.

Look in the front of the hand book very often find the awning size in there.

I always check mine using a long length of cord pulled through the awning rail and down to the ground at each end.
