Back Home.

Arrived home safely yesterday after 3 months in Europe, 5,050 miles in all including all side trips with the car. No problems with the 5 year old Elddis Crusader Storm or the 2005 Kia XS Sorento, a very reliable outfit and extremely comfortable. Very much enjoyed the two new countries we visited, Holland and Switzerland, though the latter was very expensive. Over £50. to use the roads for the outfit over 6 days. Everything was very expensive after Austria which was the cheapest. Germany very reasonable too especially food.

Well roll on next April so we can go off again.

Hey Snooks, welcome back. We've just got back from a similar tour lasting five weeks, in our 31year-old Royale, and 16 year-old Range Rover, and like you, we had no problems. Now that IS an acheivement!!!

Agree about Switzerland, though. Very beautiful, but megamoney.

To cut down on the cost of vignettes, we pitched the van in Basle, and solo'd in and out of Switzerland.Didn't like all the tunnels!
