We are trying to get any write-ups on our fairly recently purchased ABI Dalesman 450CT of which we are only able to find any reference to it on this web-site (Practical Caravan Oct'03 Used Vans). Does anyone by any chance still have this copy in their collection that I could purchase from them. We love the van dearly and have used it throughout the winter in Cumbria (albeit new to caravanning!) and would love as much detail to help us keep it in tip-top condition.

Practival Caravan unfortunately don't have any more of this issue.

Hi, Ilse - we bought a 1997 ABI Dalesman 520 LB last year, and like you, have been able to find very little in the way of reviews etc. But we are delighted with the van - we searched high and low for something that met our requirements, which was basically a double-dinette layout, with central washroom. This gives us all that and a great deal more - quite the highest-spec van we have ever owned! It goes in for its first service on Saturday, so we are looking forward to another season of comfortable caravanning, starting from Easter weekend. If we are happy with our vans, I don't suppose it matters too much what the caravanning press has to say!

Firstly, thanks Harry for sending me a copy of the page. It was very much appreciated. Next, Chrissie, you're right, we are very happy with the van. I was just hoping that we may have been able to get some info on any faults to look out for from experienced owners (better safe than sorry!). As we are very new to caravanning we know we are going to make some mistakes, hopefully they won't be too costly!
