Your subject line really confused me.

Sorry to be pedantic, but the word is 'drawer', I can't find any dictionary reference that uses draw as a noun in this way, is this some local usage ?

Oh, ok, it's just I've heard it used like that occasionally before, the American guy with the woodworking programme on TV (can't remember his name) used to use it. When I saw your post I looked up some on-line dictionaries (UK ans US) but none list it as a usage. Was just curious.

rang bailey helpline they say:-

pull drawer out as far as it will go

underneath there is a steel pin each side.

Press in the plastic sides of the drawer by the pin and lift the drawer, the spring clip will release.

Going to try it on ours tomorrow

George.

Are you really sorry to be pedantic? Your comments seem to be in very bad taste.

This is forum for caravanners to interact, it is NOT a lesson in the correct use of english language. I hope that Sean has not been put off using this forum as a result of your bad manners.

Al

PS Should you find my post grammatically incorrect, please don't bother telling me.

High Sean it wasn't directed against you!

Exception was taken to the use of the word draw instead of drawer whereupon exception was taken to the taking of exception

Now draw your own conclusion

I couldn't possibly comment

Wel sed Big ell!!! What a prat he is.

David (from Kent)
Sorry David, but I take objection to that, in no way did I intend to be offensive to Sean, my question was genuine, as I thought my follow-up post explained (which, you will notice, was posted a whole day before others decided to butt into the discussion). If Sean had been offended I'm sure he would have said so himself, why anyone else felt the need to speak on Sean's behalf I couldn't say.

I was genuinely confused by the subject line when I first read it, thinking it was referring to some competition.

If correct usage of the language makes someone a 'prat' then miB we shd 411 jst strt ritng NE way we pleez & 1dy nbdy wil hv nE ideea wot nE1 else is sAng an we cn rEvrt bak 2 grntng N poyntng.
