No Paul it's not just you, but as regards a solution the only one I've come up with is not to use the holder.

Paul,

No we've never had a poblem with ours, just plonk the kitchen roll in it making sure that the free end gets pulled from the "under" side & not from over the top.

Pulling it from the under side encourages the roll to "spin" backwards whilst pulling the free end from "over" the top encourages the roll to climb up over the front rail & plop, straight into the sink!

hi paul

no it's not your imagination the roll holder is designed for the longer fatter rolls like bounty ect, that have a longer inside cardboard tube ( not all rolls have the same size tube)and some are considerably shorter these just keep falling off the holder.

compare some of them in the supermarket side by side you will see what I am getting at buy the ones with the longest tube and you will have no more trouble

I thought I, too, would remove it but it actually works perfectly if you pull from underneath the roll. I thought the holder looked naff but you don't actually see it when the driptray is clipped in.

Hi Malcolm

I agree about the naff look and when we first looked at the van the salesman offered to have the bracket removed so I don't think that we are alone in that view!

We never used the drip tray as we had a nice fibreglass tray that was the same size as the sink top.

I superglued 4 small rubber feet on the bottom and they fitted inside the sink rim and it stayed put for thousands of miles !
