Bailey pageant auvergne 2003 water pump

Hi all... Just purchased a 2003 Bailey Pageant Auvergne and can't get any water into the caravan. Whale submersible pump fitted into aqua roll but inside on the consumer unit the pump light won't come on when switch is flocked. Fuses next to it checked and seem ok. Any other ideas???

Silly question for you, have you tried turning on a tap?
the light normally comes on when tap is opened and light goes out when tap is turned off.

Although not familiar with your Bailey 'van interpreting what your picture shows you have can switch to select a choice of filling an internal tank and drawing water from there, or the external pump for water supply from the aquaroll, and as noted by Kev I would not expect these to be lit necessarily when the taps are off and the pump inactive. I note that you have switched to 'van' for the battery but reading no volts, so is there an issue with the caravan battery itself, the terminals, or the inline fuse (near to the battery itself).

Hi all and thanks for your replies... That's only a picture I nabbed off Google to show my set up, it's the only pic I could find as I forgot to take one today... Ok I'll check that next time I'm there, see if the light lights up when tap turns on... No gurgling or air noises come through though when u open any of the taps which is why I was wondering if there was something else I was missing... And yes, I've got a leisure battery fitted for all 12v use..๐Ÿ‘

If after checking the taps and still no joy, next try cleaning the contact's on the pump and in the pump housing.
Failing that have you a spare pump or can you borrow one and try it on your van?
If your pump has failed you may get yourself a small screwdriver and turn the pump upside down and access the impeller, try turning the impeller as it may just be stuck. Try freeing it off, worth a go, good luck.
