Bailey Pageant Gas Locker Floor

I've just privately purchased a 2001 Bailey Pageant Moselle and when putting in a new gas bottle it nearly fell through the locker floor. It appears that the recessed bottle holders in the plastic floor have split (on both sides of the locker) meaning that the bottles are only getting half the support they need, which concerns me a bit.
Has anyone else come across this problem and how have they fixed it? I was thinking of putting fibreglass underneath to repair the cracks but not sure if this will work with the plastic tray. Ideally I would like any repair to be lightweight.

Thanks
Paul

There were a number of reports of this a few years ago. It is possible to replace the floor, but probably expensive. I'd be looking to see whether I could replace the locker floor with exterior quality ply.

What ever repair is carried out, please remember that air must be able to freely circulate through the floor of the locker. This is to ensure that if there is a gas leak (LPG being heavier than air) the gas can escape freely and disipate.
