Hi, Has anyone found a Porch Type Awning to fit a Series 7 Pageant Burgundy without fitting across the front or middle windows.

Can anyone offer any advice as to which manufacturer will supply a suitable awning.

Thanks

Malcolm

Hi

We've ordered the series 7 Bretagne which looks like it might be the same length. Took a tape measure to the dealer and confirmed a 3.9 metre awning would clear the door and windows so planning on the Sunncamp tunnel type awning. The Burgundy looks to have similarly positioned windows although the door appears to be at the other end.

Hi folks

We have the sunncamp with the bretagne and it is the business. It doesnt cover the front window at all. I think ours is the 390, the 260 probably would not cover the middle window which is what you looking for Malcolm.

When you getting your van Martin, Best of luck with it, we are loving ours!

Hi Brenda

We've deferred delivery until the new year - practical and financial reasons!

Have you used yours yet, and how do you find the awning?

This will be our first van and coming from camping (Vango dome) we have no issues at all with the lighter awning structures, it's good to hear the 3.9 is a perfect fit. Had planned on the Sunncamp although I've recently heard about a similar one called a P.A.C.K. 390 which may have additonal parts to provide a better seal against the van. Haven't been able to see one yet though and it doesn't look as if we'll make it to NEC for the show (although I've read there's not much to see by way of accesories there anyway).

Best of luck with the Bretagne!

Brenda,

I have the series 5 Senator Indiana, I believe that the body on mine is the same as the body on yours & I use a Ventura Marlin porch awning, OK I know it takes slightly longer to put up & take down but it is more substantial than the sunncamp & awnings of that type, horses for courses as they say

Hi Malcolm

We've a Series 7, 08 Burgundy and after much looking, measuring and searching bought an old stock Apache Madrid from Robinsons. Lovely awning to use and fits the van a treat. Stood through very strong winds on cliff top site in Cornwall without any trouble. Robinsons were very good to deal with as well.

All the best with your choice

Tomo
