can anyone who has one give me any feedback on this particular layout and positives v negatives!!!!!

We have a Ranger Series 5 470/4 and looked seriously at the 550/6 when we got ours. The thought of not having to make up the bunk each night appealed. The one downside in my opinion is there is no separate area anywhere in the van that you can get dressed.

If you are looking at new or nearly new, the Ranger 540/6 solves this problem while still sleeping 6 in a (relatively) lightweight van.

We had one from new, still would if some thieving gypsey b*****d hadnt stolen it, and it was perfect for us and our 6 & 9 yr old daughters.

There is a lack of changing space, but all vans are a compromise.

We are devastated that we cant replace our old 550 since the new 540/6 layout really loses a lot of space at the front.
