Has anybody else had a bad time with the taps fitted to their Bailey Ranger?

We've had a Bailey Ranger 470/4 since 2002, using it for our summer breaks and the odd school holiday. The tap in the bathroom now leaks, but only enough to switch the pump on every every 5 minutes or so for a short burst - very irritating at night! Bailey inform that a new unit is therefore needed - £65.98 please!

The shower tap has also failed (I reckon it's been used about 20 times in total). The handle has cracked where it clamps onto the plastic pin of the main body of the tap. This handle is badly designed - all the force used on the tap to turn it left and right, and forward and back, is relying on the 2mm thick plastic wall of the 'socket' part of the handle. You'd think a replacement handle could be had cheaply (probably 20p to manufacture), but no! New shower tap needed - £65.98 again!

These taps are made by Dimetic, and supplied by Miriad Products. I've been in touch with them direct, and the answer in the same - 2 complete new units at app £65 each.

Is there another make of shower tap that will fit the cut-out in the shower? I really don't want to pay £65.98 for a poorly designed plastic handle worth about 20p.

Thanks

John
