Bailey Senator Series 6

In this months PC, Bailey have a full advertisement saying the Series 6 Senator will be on dealers forecourts on the 1st July 2007. They invite us to go to the website " www.senatorseries6.co.uk". There is no website and my enquiries with Bailey's helpdesk was pretty useless. They said if I want a new Senator for this summer I should buy a Series 5!

Is the Bailey advert in the June issue of PC premature and indeed has Carl Rodgerson wound us all up with his "secret glimpse" article??

I shall wait for the Series 6 as I do not want yesterday's model tomorrow. That said there is an arguement that a previous model is a better buy than its replacement. We shall see.

Cheers

Robbo

A couple of other forums have pictures - it doesn't look very different from the Series 5.

Despite all the hype when the Series concept was introduced, it looks like Bailey are reverting to bi-annual changes with minor spec changes in between.

Anyone wanting a Series 6 probably would not see it until the end of the year anyway. We ordered our Series 5 in June 05 and it was December by the time we took delivery of the van. I agree with what has been said regarding buying a model in the middle or towards the end of a production run. The current S5's have several changes which are an improvement on the early vans. Also as I have mentioned on another thread there are some great deals currently on the S5's. I have seen Indianas at
