Bailey Senator Shower

Hi all, I have the above van(2007) and whilst the water presure to the sink in the kitchen & bathroom are fine, the shower leaves a lot to be desired, ie not a lot of presure.

1/ is the Aquasource pump adjustable?

2/ would it help if I was to change the shower head for a smaller one, thus increasing the presure?

your thoughts would be much appreciated,

Berty.......

Sounds like there is a kink in the pipe. We have the same system on our Carolina and the show is more than good enough

Get the dealer to check it out

Berty.

You have a new van, you should not put up with a bodge job.

Get the dealer to sort it. All equipment should be fit for purpose. If you let the bugg-rs of the hook now what will you do if you get a serious fault. Go for the throat.

Thanks for the reply Steve, Really can't understand it because on the Arizona the shower is the first port off call for the plumbing, starts of quite strong when you first open the shower, then you can see and feel the pressure drop, and the distance that the water is propelled gets a lot shorter. Thought at first that the pressure was being reduced by using the aqua roll, but it is just the same from the inboard tank. Do you use your water heater on gas when using the shower? As I also find that the hot water diminishes very quickly when using the shower.

Berty...

The shower in our Oklahoma(2006) is excellent and I would look for kinks in the pipework as has been said

We use the gas and electric when showering but as with all caravans on storage heating its a case of get wet-turn off--soap up---rinse off.

Berty. I don't use the gas when showering but the wife has both gas and electric on and moans its still not enough. (she does moan a lot). I don't normally have a very hot shower so the water lasts me easily. As for the aqua roll or the tank, it makles no difference as its the same pump. But we do fill up the tank and aqua roll before a shower just to make certain.
