Hi All

I've been playing with our new Indiana series 6, only had it a week, and when the 12volt supply is switched on in the van the TV comes on in standby mode. Is that how it should remain until required or is there another way to switch it off, the power button on the TV itself only switches from on to standby. It seems a bit odd that it has to be on stanby all night? Anyone have any ideas?

One other question, is there any way to get the TV sound to come from the radio speakers, as it does when playing a DVD, as the TV speakers sound a bit tinny.

Thanks

Mikey

Hope you are enjoying your Indiana as much as we are enjoying ours! True, there are some anomalies with the TV/DVD system. You could turn off the 12 volt master at night, but you would also lose all services such as lights and heater fan. But if using site EHU why worry about the TV being in standby? As far as sound is concerned we would like to be able to cut off the radio speakers at the front when watching DVDs in bed at the back, being considerate of our neighbours! It would also improve things if the TV could be tilted on the horizontal plane as the viewing angle isn't quite right - somebody told me you can buy a kit to do this but there is a world shortage of 'round too-its'!

Thanks for your reply, I'm the sort that likes to 'turn off when not in use' i.e lights, TV's, myself etc... but I guess the TV will have to stay in standby. As for the sound I might pick up some seperate speakers and plug in the audio out.

We're having our first weekend away this Saturday so I'm going to see how I get on first.

By the way have you come across any other anomalies, with the van?

Regards

Mikey
