Bailey Warranty claims

Just had our 7 month old Cadiz back to the dealer as we have a few snagging issues....sealant on rear exterior of van coming away, water pump panel switch seems to be INOP, plus a few other little gripes...
Dealer has told me that there is an 8 month wait for parts from Bailey once a claim has been authorised...and some of the smaller items may not be covered by warranty.
Having only had the van since November and having been persuaded to take an extra 3 year parts and labour warranty and a 4 year extension on the body warranty, am I being unreasonable in expecting an expense free warranty period...8 months for parts seems extremely excessive....
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Remind the dealer of his responsibilities under The Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8 months delay is unacceptable.
Have a look at Which? legal for suggested letters you can write to the dealer .

Thanks for the advice 👍
I am thinking of cancelling the warranty extensions we purchased if that is going to be the attitude from them going forward.
Cheers
