Bala C+CC site, Wales

Hello

We were thinking of staying at Bala Camping & Caravanning Club Site this year, but looking at Google Earth, the entrance road seems long and only single-track - with no passing places. Has anyone any experience of this site - in particular what the access is like?

Many Thanks

Russell

Hello

We have stayed at Bala C & CC site many times and the road is fine. There are a couple of passing places but we have never had any trouble.

You can actually look at the access road using google streets.

Looks like you will have to virtually stop dead at each corner to see if any other vehicles are approaching. Road looks very narrow. Don't know what you'd do if you met a caravan coming the other way.

Its got me thinking actually, what if two outfits meet on such a road and one needs to reverse. Difficult enough on a wide road. Then more traffic starts coming, etc, etc. Just thinking about it makes we want to pack towing in.
