Bamburgh Castle

We're going up to Northumberland for the October half term and will be meeting and spending the week with family who will be staying in a cottage.

Can anyone recommend a site near Bamburgh Castle, our minimum requrement is that it has showers.

Thanks,

Becky

Hi Rebecca

We've booked Waren Caravan & Camping Park for the end of July. We've not been to the area before but chose the park due to it's close proximity to Bamburgh and Holy Island.

It's graded 4 star and has views of Holy Island. Like you I also like decent showering facilities.

You could check out the reviews on ukcampsite.co.uk and then look on www.meadowhead.co.uk - click on Waren Park.

Hope this helps.

When I go up that way we stay here:

Its a touch expensive, but the facilities are great, not all that many touring pitches but all are fully serviced.

Leisure club on site (included in pitch fee)

Walk through into seahouses town and harbour.

Bamburgh castle a couple of miles up the road.
