I've just returned from Bank Farm this afternoon, and your grandkids will love the site.
They've got a bar, a cafe which does a corking breakfast, a mini arcade, and an indoor swimming pool (perfect for a rainy day), with a ginger life guard who looks half-asleep most of the time. My daughter reckoned the pool water was warm (but I didn't think so); it's a child friendly site I thought.
I'd warn you not to miss the left turn into the site though; it's not signposted. And you don't want to go into Port Enyon itself; with a caravan; it can be difficult to get out of (I know from experience).
SO MAKE SURE YOU TURN LEFT AT THE SMALL SIGN POST MARKED 'HORTON'.
Anyway, Bank Farm, as the name implies, on a bank; so make sure you've got some wooden blocks.
And if your grandkids are young (pre-teens), ensure you visit the Gower Heritage Centre (another good rainy day trip). It looks naff from the exterior, but it's great and they've got a mini animial centre; follow that by a short treck to Penard Castle; and onto the Three Cliffs Bay (if they're big enough for a bit of a treck).
I love the Gower, but I stress again, make sure you turn left at the sign post marked HORTON.
