With a 26/12 use by date it would otherwise go to landfill so they need to sell it by close of business - at any price.
We support a local day centre where our elderly and or lonely souls meet three times a week for company and a hot meal at discounted rates.
The plan is to do them a special Easter Turkey roast. It will be ok In the freezer for now.

An absolute sacrilege to throw on the landfill 🙉

Wow, is that the price of a turkey now? We’ve had goose for the last 25 years from the local farm so out of touch with turkey prices!

Morrisons serves less people than Tesco from a heavier bird. Can only assume that hosts that shop at Morrisons are more generous with their servings than Tesco hosts . And the Morrisons reduced price is lower than Tesco. A good find.

Did I miss something Clive? Cheaper than mine ?

But I do note Morrisons is an Organic Turkey. Tesco’s is only Free Range. Probably fed differently😜. All sales jargon. The success is in the cooking. Good old Delia Smith👍

Dusty, in my book £20 is less than £27.75. I know I gave up accountancy in the Leceister. City Treasurers department, preferring an engineering apprenticeship but I still retain a modicum of financial acumen. 😂😂😂

Oops Borderbilly will be telling me to go to Specsavers again and Saxo Appeal needs better resolution on his camera. Head hangs in shame.

Looks to me like £20 is the price/kg!

Originally the Morrisons turkey was more expensive at £20 per kg than the Tesco turkey at £17 per kg. However only a turkey would pay that sort of price.

Organic stuff is a lot more expensive than normal produce which is why we never buy organic plus hardly any taste difference. Veg grown in our back garden tastes better!
