Basecamp Outside Air Temperature Sensor

Does anyone know where the outside temp sensor for a 2018 Swift Basecamp Plus is located? Any help much appreciated

I don’t know, but I believe that Alde advise when fitting theirs is under the floor, therefore out of any sunlight. The odd thing with that is that in summer, I find that under the van is a good bit cooler than the surroundings.

But could be an area to look for it.

Thanks for your advice Jcloughie I will have look.

Look under the bunk adjacent the fuse board, it's usually pushed through a gas vent.
It's a 3 wire device with two leads off one for the interior temperature, and the other the external.

Hi, I received the following reply from Swift:

The external temperature probe is sticking through the floor, the attached image is for reference, the probe will be stuck into the floor, we have dropped it to show what it looks like. It is likely that this will need to be replaced as there are no serviceable parts. This should be done by a Swift Approved dealership.

Thanks to you all for your help
