Bath Chew Valley and places to visit?

We have booked to go to Bath Chew Valley for the New Year. Does anyone have any comments about this site, or suggestions for places to visit?

Thanks

Chew Valley is a delightfully different site - adults only, towcars not allowed on pitches except to tow on/off.

The Pony & Trap in a nearby village does excellent food but you'll need to be there early as it's very popular among locals.

By the way, off to Lucksall on Friday for the Bank Holiday weekend, after you recommnded earlier. Hoping we get at list a few hours without rain!

Bath Chew looks really beautiful, shame we are going in December/January, as the landscaping/planting looks wonderful. We are feeding the (grown up) children and grandchildren over Christmas, so this is our relaxation after!

Thanks, we will try it out!

I hope the weather is kinder to you than we have had it of late Lois. I hope you've booked a hardstanding although the riverside grass pitches shouldn't be too bad if the rain keeps away. I'm just surprised the river hasn't flooded with the amount of rain we've had.
