Bathroom mixer taps

The bathroom mixer taps the pipe came off under the taps but could not find how to put the pipe on again.
This is how I had to do it.
Under the taps is a plastic cupboard that I cut an inspection hole with a stanly knife about 4inches x 4inches.
It was dead easy then to pop the pipe back on and close the cupboard.
The pipe has gone very brital so next time I am near a tropical fish shop I will get a clear bit off pipe and change it.

Just a thought, my existing pipes are all solid colour and I think this is so that algae are denied any light. Even under the sink a clear pipe might let enough light through to encourage growth so buy the proper replacement pipe if possible.
