Batteries and the NCC Scheme

Looking towards purchasing an additional battery for off EHU use, I thought I would do a little research.

Everything to do with the NCC is flawed -it exists solely to protect and promote the interests of its member, the caravan industry - it doesn't exist to protect the consumer, caravanners

Ouch! Makes a worrying read. To be honest I wouldnt consider the ncc rating given the names it said seemed Good. I know from experience, somewhat bitter that with batteries Yuasa varta and perhaps exide but my jury is out there on exude as I bought my first one a month or two ago.

Just bought a Platinum, wish I had seen this before I did, as I would have gone elsewhere.
