reading the artical about battery chargers in the July edition of Practical caravan (page 134)i was astonished to think how Inadequate our chargers are especially as more of us are using heavy drain items such as motor movers etc. to this end i thought it wise to change ours to a more competant unit. The one of choice in the article appears to be "nordelettronica's two- stage NE 143.Does any one have experiance of this charger or the companies web site please.Shane

Hello Shane.

I have purchased and fitted this unit to my Bailey 460/2 2004, been on a few months now, leave connected to mains all the time, no sign of 'cooking' the battery. Also purchased 600w Inverter from them, thats ok. Company easy to deal with, only problem I found is the quality of some Helogen bulbs purchased at the same time, not as bright as the oe bulbs in the Ring lamps, but they were cheap.

Hello Shane.

As this unit is slightly larger than OE it will not fit in main electrical box on my van, I removed the OE charger and dropped the 240& 12v connections out of the box and secured the new unit to the floor close by, wiring is simple, normal mains connection to a plug and tail supplied, similar method used for 12v output. overall I consider the instructions with the unit quite adequate for those with very basic electrical knowledge.

hope this is helpful, could have e-mailed you a copy but my scanner has just thrown a wobbly.

Hope this is helpfull.
