BBQ point installation and 240v installation

Hi everyone, has anybody had a bbq point fitted on their caravan by a dealer ie so the warranty remains valid. I want it on the near side within a foot of the front so probably still in the gas compartment. If so how much do you think is a reasonable price.

Additionally I would like a 240 outside socket near the back of the van (a socket inside already exists in this location) again warranty issues as its 2009 and cost estimations

Any recommendation

Thanks everyone

Allan

Hi Allan,

I'm not sure whether a dealer's hands would be tied with the fitting on the nearside (awning side).

Ours is fitted on the offside and as Paul says, is inline with the pipework in the gas box.

I agree with James I thought the default was to fit nearside, certainly my Elddis van has it factory fitted on the nearside.
