There is a lot of strong feeling here on people rights.

There is a rally soon where many are to meet.

I feel it is about time we took things a step further and Caravenners stood up for FREEDOM .

Some French style protesting is long overdue. £8 for a days camping in the city of London is quite cheap! We could block the whole place and really screw up Livingstone and the City.

We hear so much about minority groups, so how about Caravanners getting off their buts and making their mark for every day people and a bit of common sense.

A few Bobble hats towed from green lanes tied to a nice 4 X 4 and they would soon b****r off back to the cities.

I think we seriously have the makings of a powerful movement here and could out do those wimpy fuel price protesters!

We have pensioners , medico's and self employed etc. A big cross section of socio economic Britain that could make their voices heard for every day people sidelined as a minority by the likes of ramblers an greens etc.

We could use a bit a bit of civil disobedience to make a stand for people with differing views but a common cause of respect and understanding for people who just want to enjoy themselves in different ways without some "preachers" crying wolf and getting more silly laws changed.

If we want alternative energy, put a heat exchanger above every politician and a wind turbine out side the back door of the house of commons.

Even if a few of us went to prison would it harm us, just like caravanning without wheels and the views!

So come on, you all shout and huff and puff, but who is prepared to stand up and be counted come the day of the revolution? I sure we have the self control or it always to remain peaceful protest.

The odd "PC" plonker getting squished under wheel would only be a slap on the wrist of the driving license and we could get a fund together to pay the fines.

Caravanner Rights Are Precious - Action Group

And look out if that little bouncy things rears his head, SPLAT !

That's got to be worh £60 and 3 points!

This has got the be the best post so far this year!

I would like to be a member of C.R.A.P. and suggest we put up a candidate at the next election!

The TV then has to give us our own Party Political Broadcast!

As for your comment re the heat exchangers on individual politicians and a wind farm at the House of Commons!!

We are all still laughing here!!

This was a serious posting!

But I now see what you mean.

CRAP AG .

Maybe we could use Lutz as a front for this, he seems a nice smart guy and we've traditionally blamed the Germans for so much, the worst crime being sun louger scandals.

It would give an international flavour and prove that we all have a sense of humour and we would keep in with the EEC, would't want to be seen as Europhobic.

HEAVEN FORBID.

I will be glad to lead the attacks, I see no fear!

After all I have recent great leadership examples to call on in the field of battle conflict and civil unrest.

I will follow the lead of Teflon Tony and sit miles away from you all sending words of encouragement and wiping crocdile tears from my eye corners as I wring my hands, sound sincere and add that special little tremmor in my voice.

Citizen cris ;-)

Yes - lets delegate as much as possible.

I could transport Lutz to London for the C.R.A.P. Launch Press Conference in my friends 12 seat LPG powered V8 Defender as we would not have to pay the Congestion charge on that vehicle it being LPG'd - and one other advantage as a 12 seater it is classified as a bus and so we can wip up and down the Bus Lanes with impunity!

What about taking Steve Sparkes along as with his situation he may have a disable sticker so we could park anywhere.

I think Steve could chain that leg to the gates at number 10. With the pain the poor guy is in who would dare go near him and cut him free!

Would the authorities inflict more pain an a man in pain!

I bet we would even get Clarkson on our side if we stood up for ourselves, he doesn't want bobble heads tramping through his new garden ;-)

Or we coud use him as a figure head strapped to the front of a Disco with Janet Street Porter lashed in bondage gear to a cracked fronted Avondale!

Woops! brain shut down due to horror overload re all those teath.

Back after a lay down.

JSp has a roll in the country side debates!

She swans around in the city a powerful media controller having stuffed a lot of divel to our screns in the name of art viewing figures, outrage, advertising revenues and no doubt her bank balance and then heads out as a champion of freedom in the countryside for her own hobby!

I'd love to see her with a few farmers, AI man and a Farrier tellling her how to run a TV production and demand rights of access for the WI to all sex scenes or rude jokes!

Welcome aboard Citizen Roy, you lot down in Wales should have protesting in your blood with the long history of mining struggles.

Something must have rubbed off even if you are not Welsh.

Maybe we could block the bridge and place bets with Paddy Power that no one will get to the Cup Final to raise propaganda funds.

That's a good idea - Area Representatives!! I will put myself forward for the SW Area

But before any elections to such prestigeous posts we better just be Area Representatives Subject to Election

So our badges which must be worn at the Press Conference will be C.R.A.P. A.R.S.E.

All happy with that?

I did not realise it but a couple of the women in the office are active members of Women In Politics - they said they could help us a lot but would need to be elected to before they could offer their expertise.

So any objections if their badges say C.R.A.P. A.R.S.E. W.I.P.E.

As much as some will look at this and say "here we go again", there is a serious point to this.

Where is the bite in the Caravanning world. As well as our own favoured Mag there are others.

We read moans and groans about Caravan Industry Practices , Innsurance , Sevicing Problems, ack of Lack of Customer Care, Green Issues, Contryside Walks and on and on.

Without our cars and western life styles we wouldn't be able to partake in many of the persuits we enjoy.

So what are we as a "monority" going to do about it. If we don't speak up, who will speak for us? Or do we all moan and groan about our own little beefs and let some Numpty push a law through to satisfy some other minority.

It seems the C & CC is not the place,so C.R.A.P AG may not be as daft as you think.

The Teachers have the NUT, so why not be a little adventurous and have C R A P AG. A lot talk it about Caravanning and the people who partake,so send it up! Turn it back on those that snipe at us and our varied persuits, we may have differing views but at least we could show that some our prepared to accept that others may not think the same but we can learn to live and work together!

You are spot on there Cris we need an organization with "teeth", you are probably familiar with the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG)something along those lines.

We are never all going to agree, but their needs to be some level of moderation rather than BAN this and BAN that.

Many laugh at the French, but they take no prisoners. Any doubt they shout, unlike many Brits that whimper in a corner out of earshot incase some nerdy type gets offended.

Think what a Caravanning tourist draw Buck House Gardens would be if we did the same here, and Sandringham,Balmoral, Highrove,

Windsor, Gatcome Park, Highgrove,Sunningdale,Bagshot Park etc.

Other parks would have to trim prices the size of those places and with all the expensive toys in the "club Houses" ;-)

Did you hear about Charles being downgraded to Club Class on his flight back from Hong Kong after the hand over?

How did the poor guy cope!

Bless him.

No doubt the poor boy still had a lackey with him to place paste on toothbrush!

What are we going to do about a C R A P - AG membership card.

Should we go for a full biometric job with retina scan etc and DNA embeded in it?

The data base would be scrambled so that Lord B's data would maybe have my sef ID and CliveV would come up as Tina or Lollys.

As further proof of ID a copy of your first school report and Caravan CRIS document should be OK.

Point being here is we are whingein about ID cards stil and about what parts of the countryside we can use and how!

C R A P - AG could provide Caravanners with a voice against poor service and call for respect for freedom of the individual.

Having gone out with a clean car yesterday and seen the back of it this morning as well as the backs of a few Caravans this morning a CRAP-AG sticker behind us will blend in well and could soon be recognised as a mark of the strong not downtrodden meek Caravanners!

CRAP-AG could show that people with differing views can work together but will not be walked on!

I thing the car and van sticker should be road grime sludgy browny grey with reflective red lettering to show a concern for safety and provide extra visual awareness!

hello people, I'm back! Oh, you hadn't missed me? Oh well, another ego bust!. Any way, I think CRAP AG sounds sounds magic! But there is a serious side to all this. Our rights as individuals are being erode quietly and secretly all the time. However, and not to put a damper on any of the banter, there is already an action group for caravanners - ACCEO, the Association of Camping and Caravanning Exempted Organisations. If you're a club member, your club should be a member of ACCEO. Now, can we form a Welsh section of CRAP AG?

Emmerson, wellcome aboard. The CRAP train.

Hang on, I think that was British Rails tag line.

C R A P - AG idea is something with BITE to kick **** for every day people of the Caravan world.

I can't see that ACCEO actually standup and SHOUT, don't get me wrong. I don't really mean setting light to the streets.

I have met people from all walks of life carravanning and think that it is about time a group people with varying ideas said-

STOP, LISTEN, ACT ON, DO SOMETHING, EVEN LIVE AND LET LIVE =

SLADE - Make the people who think they are in control listen to a mixed group of the "little" people and moderate action rather than inflict control and more laws!

crris, I know it must have been awful for you all whilst I was away, but I was offered a week's very lucrative work, which will pay for some more caravanning! We're off on wednesday to Bishop's Meadpw in Brecon with the Royale Club. Perhaps I can start a CRAP AG sub group among our members!
