Best caravan for family with two tots?

We're looking to buy our first caravan have two small children under 3 yrs. We'd love a caravan with plenty of space for the children - but not too big so that our VW Touran (2litre diesel) can tow. I've been impressed by the build quality of some of the euro vans - can anyone recommend a 4/5 maybe 6 birth that's built to last - which will serve us well for a good few years?

Many thanks, Dawn

Bailey's Ranger, or the Sprite Major, both offer a six berth - so you could put both little ones in a bottom bed. Later the back bunk can turn into a 'garage' for when they want to take their bikes and one can use the top bunk and one the side bunk, which then also gives an additional area to sit and play games at - an ideal layout I think!!

Hi Dawn,

We have a Bailey Ranger 500/5 where rear dinette turns into a double bed at the botton and bunk on the top. We find this great for our 3 and 4 year olds as there is a place during the day where either us or them can escape to draw read etc and on an evening Grace our 4 year old sleeps on the top bunk ( she has been since she was 2 years old) and Jacob sleps on the bottom or you could have them both in the double bed.

Very flexible and with the sliding door provides you with a good shut off when they go to sleep (used to have a van with side dinette and a curtain they were forever playing with it a messing on at bedtime.

Hope this helps

Jane
