John,

Southland is very nice. Stayed there during Whitsun week last year. The park is spotless and well looked after. The pitches are a decent size and there are hedgerows dividing them into smaller areas. It's in a peaceful location and was very quiet at night even though it was fully booked.

Take a look at their website www.southland.co.uk, there is quite a bit of information on there with aerial photos, videos etc.

Mark.

Hi John,

Take a look at Whitefield Forest, at Ryde.

It is a brilliant site, newly opened last year, very large pitches, set in woodland but close to all the amenities you would want.

We're going to Nodes Point this year (again).

It's a site that's got most everything you'd want - pool, shops, entertainment - and it's a stone's throw from a very nice - secluded - beach.

But - get this - we're booked to go for ten days. The first week (7 nights), will cost us

We stayed in a static caravan at Rookley Park which is just outside Newport last summer as we didn't get our tourer until October. While we were there we looked at the touring facilities and wouldn't hesitate to go there again. The toilet block was very clean and modern, the caravan pitches were all full service pitches with part hardstanding and part grass and the site had lots to do without being totally brash and 'in your face'. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fishing, pitch and putt, crazy golf, nice restaurant, bar with evening entertainment and a small shop all on site. It would have cost our family of 2 adults and 3 kids

Hi John,

Definatly Southland as mark suggested, we have been there twice now, once last may for half term and also a week in august a couple of years ago, very nice clean tidy friendly site, close to Shanklin and Sandown.
