Black Forest

Could anyone recommend a caravan park in the Black Forest region in Germany. We are looking to travel their in summer with friends. We are looking for somewhere that will have facilities to keep children, aged between 10 to 17, entertained.

In the South Black Forest both Camping Belchenblick and Feriencamping Munstertal are very good, and should fit the bill. Both are very close to the beautiful little town of Staufen-im-Breisgau. There's also Camping Kirchzarten near Freiburg, though we haven't stayed there.

hi neil. we stayed at camping kirchzarten,what a choice.little more expensive,but for the price you are given a ticket that allows you on all public transport in black forest, FREE. there is also a huge pool complex next door,also free, you are issued with wristband.take train to titisee its a must.also freiburg.oh and if you stay, put your head round the door of the local village church,you'll be amazed. regards pat

Thank you all for your comments and advice. We have finally got booked at camping Kinizigtal, which is near Steinach.

I will let you all know how it goes - we can't wait - roll on August
