We are going to the above site in August. Then on to Park Coppice.

Hoping to do lots of walking, with dog, daughter and hubby.

Can anyone recommend a good pub (or 2) and places to visit.

Thanks

Been a couple of years since we were there, but the pub on the crossroads at Hanley Swan (20mins walk) was O.K, and the Chinese take-away in Barnards Green was acceptable. There was also a decent `Spar` establishment there and a baker, saves you going into Malvern.

Jo-anne,

Blackmore has a childrens play area but that is about it unless they like walking. I would certainly not let my grandchildren ride their bikes out of the site due to the speed vehicles travel at past the site.

You would have to travel to find things for the children to do.

It is a lovely peaceful site to crash out on with good views but i would question whether it is suitable for a teenager to spend a few days on site, unless they are good at occupying themselves in other ways.

Hope this helps.

On Countryfile B.B.C.1 today at 11am they are discussing " attractions in visiting the Cotswolds". Thought this may be of interest for future reference.

Enjoy your Wyoming, my wife and myself both prefer to tow a twin axle. Our last four caravans have all been twins.

Have a good time .
