Good site up to CC standards

Walking in the Roaches nearby, not far from most of the Peak District. PH just down the road. Coop on main Road into Leek

Good chippy on Leek market place. Tissington Trail not far. Good walks all round Hartington. Really enjoyed. a bit tedious going round Nottingham and Derby in the wet from A17 car got a bit hot. Only used the car for a few miles to get to walks which is great, then out all day.

Mike, that does not sound like the Blackmore site I know, which isjust outside Malvern! We go to the C&CC one, which has lovely pitches, super new toilet blocks and is surrounded by woodland. There is a CC site right next door, which I am sure is great too. You are very close to the 3 counties showground, for events there, within walking distance of a pub that does good food and right in the centre of a beautiful area for trips out.

Mike, you are getting confused with Blackwall Plantation, Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

Blackmore is in the Malverns. Both the CC and C&CC sites are well presented with excellent facilities. We have stayed on both sites and there is little to chose between. Lovely area for walking, or taking longer trips in the car. I would suggest the C&CC site best if you have children and the play area is (or was) better. The site is also more level, perhaps because of the need to accommodate tenters.

I can highly recommend Blackmore.

Yes you are right, after I sent it I realised.

anyway just visited Blackmoor, both sites for a look. OK but both seemed big and busy. We stayed at a CL on Castlemorton Common in Welland
