Blackout blind gap ?

Hi all, on our 2000 Challenger when we close the blackout blind there is still a gap at the bottom enough for light to get in, is there any adjustment or way of stopping this. It does help with the flyscreen closed as well but I dont really want to do this all the time in storage as it stretches both springs.

Many Thanks

Ian

We have the same problem and as I cannot sleep with light coming in needed to do something about it pretty quick

Now use a tip posted earlier on this forum and slip foam pipe lagging over the bottom of the blind,it works

Thanks for that Gill, now i come to think about it I do remember something like that in the top tips area of pc magazine about a year ago.

Is there more of a permanent way to do this such as lowering the blind guides.

Many Thanks

I use domestic pipe insulation - cut out a quarter of the circle all the way along and trim to length - fills the gap nicely.

Pull down the fly blind first this fills the gap nicely. On my old van I turned the blinds upsidedown which not only solved the problem, but was also good in the morning as you could half open them for light and still keep your privacy.
