Excuse me for being a bit of wally but my mind has gone blank.

How do you get the blown air heating to work ?? I have the Trumatic heater on thermostat setting and only the heater blows out warm air - which setting do I need to get the air vents to work.

I have a Coachman Amara 2005 model by the way.

Hi Jon,

I think it will be the same as my van.

If using gas light the fire & turn the thermostat control on the top of the fire to about 5 or 6 & wait for the fire to heat up.

If using 230 volts find the electric control for the fire. It should be a grey and black circular control. Turn the outer ring to either 500, 1000, or 2000. Then turn the inner control (thermostat) to max, then wait for the fire to heat up.

When warm air is coming from the fire find the other control on top of the fire. There will be a slide control one way will be automatic, the other way will be manual. If you chose manual you will need to turn the dial to adjust the speed of the fan.

If working correctly this will blow out warm air.

Good luck

G.

I'm a bit puzzled at warm air blowing out of the heater

It should come off the heater by convection and as has been explained above the slide on the fire controls the blower operation

If its blowing and no heat is coming out of the vents it could be that the pipes have come off the back of the fire or maybe you need to open the restrictor at the oulet end
