You may recall Chris Pownall from Bond-Tight offering a sample of his product for suggestions of how to use in a caravan situation.I received a sample from him and must say I am very pleased with the strength of this tape. The small sample has been used for the following:

1. Mounting fire extinguisher- no screws needed

2. Fasten awning wheelcover to van

3. Mount internal door alarm - no screws needed

The gripping power of the tape is superb and yet is easily removable. I would describe it as the 21st century equivelent of velcro.

Cheers

I have to say that not only is the gripping power superb - the positive clicks as two sides are pushed together really give you a feeling of security.

Have ordered a roll because I will certainly use in place of Velcro for anything that has any weight.

I figure to use for rear number plate mounting / fire extinguisher / bottom of TV (to avoid any accidents) etc etc.

Great product !

Regards

Jon

I've been testing my sample and wanted to see if it was just a one trick pony. Well it isn't. It's holding up a coat peg and a small fire extinguisher.

The two bonding surfaces so far seem to be gripping well and the interlocking surface sounds great.

I'll be ordering a roll from Chris Pownall to keep in the caravan. It will even have some application in the workshop and at home.

Cheers

Fantastic stuff. I have two different tow vehicles and use it to put on which ever number plate I need at the time. No messing around and you don't have the worry about your plate falling off!!

Hi Bernard

Just wanted to get your thoughts after some time has now passed.

How has the product stood up to time and the elements?

Chris
How does this hold up after being subjected to heat ie closed caravan with the sun on it for a while? I have used velcro for a digital clock in my car it was great till i parked for the day in the sun then it fell off,
