Bordeaux in May

Any ideas on weather,nice sites etc around middle to end of May,any festivals going on

hi david we stayed at camping du domaine de la rive (www.larive.fr) a couple of years ago quite a nice site good pool etc near a very large lake plenty to do in the area nice beaches etc but the weather can be vry changable there was a storm whilst we were there and some young people got flooded out in there tent,but we also got a good suntan tat was in may.we will go back one day. happy vanning peter

we stayed in Royan at the end of May 05. Weather was gorgeous and this is over 100 miles north of where you are going.
