have just retuened from troutbeck caravan club site and purchased a large table made out of tree trunk from a scupture centre.a beautiful peice of solid wood,then came the time to leave last friday night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,would not fit in the caravan either through the door or windows-only choice was to take it home to burton ,some 390 miles round trip and then returned at 7am having left at 8.30 pm the prevoius evening to collect the caravan,wife and kids.what a plonker i felt.QUESTION,HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO YOU?

not when we had caravan but when we went on honey moon to wales we ended up buying a brass bed,fair enough it was in bits but we had to take it out of the box a wedge it in the little old pug 309 we had it wasnt a pleasent trip home i can tell you

We dun a thing nearly the same as you but we had gone to Disney in France. We went over just in owner car which was a estate car at that and we stop at a hotel for 4 nights but on the last day we got a lot of the Disney soft toys. When it come to pake the car we had to live a sleep bag out as with all the soft toys and other lunge in we cud just not fit all of it in but if we tuck this sleep bag out it was ok so the sleep bag got left in France.

Went to an auction and bought a full grown goat. Although I did get it home, my husband wasn't impressed when he found out I had travelled it in the back of our brand new saloon car. (Make a lot of mess do goats!).
