I have just purchased a second hand (2004) bradcot Classic Awning 960 for my Bailey Pageant Champagne 2005. It has steel poles and loads of them!!! and sadly no instructions.

Does anyone have a set of instructions they could scan and e-mail to me?

I have e-mailed Bradcot twice and heard nothing which seems a common response from Bradcot, looking at the various forums!

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much.

I have one of these but with alloy poles. I think the basic system is the same for both types of poles.

If you want a copy email the mods to give me your address and I will send you a scan.

I have bradcot Cloassic 1005 so would imagine instructions the same... Happy to send a copy to you, also have made laminated copy (as we have coloured coded each of the sets of poles) makes it so much easy to sort when you get to site so you know which poles go where!

I have just purchased a 2 year old Sterling which came with a brand new Bradcot awning & found the single sheet of instructions totally useless, so if anyone has anything which might help me do something with the spare poles I would be grateful.

It would seem that I could die holding my breath waiting for an answer from Bradcot to the e-mail I sent a week ago.

I'm returning to caravanning after a 5 year 'break', this & a couple of other issues has been a sharp reminder as to how disrespectful to customers the British caravan industry really is.

Hi Everyone - I'm new to caravanning and this forum, but felt I had to respond to Nicks comment about the British caravan industry. My 2005 caravan came with a Pyramid Tuscany awning and a decent enough set of instructions and they refered to a DVD to help with putting it up. There was no DVD there so I emailed Pyramid asking if I could buy a copy direct from them and received one free of charge within 2 days along with a lovely reply from their customer services team. Very impressed!

Such a shame all Companies can't be so efficient with customers requests - but well done Pyramid Products.

Tony,

Thanks for the link, that explains what a couple of the spare pole are for.

Robert,

Obviously there will be different experiences but until the dealer supplies the replacement window he promised within a week, 3 months ago & the manufacturer supplies the documentation I need to register the caravan in France, that they said would take less than 8, weeks 13 weeks ago, (although they were quick enough to cash my cheque) I will maintain my contempt of the UK caravan industry.
