Be careful with this! If the hub-nut doesn't have a split pin fitted through it, it's probably one of the newer type "one shot" nuts, in which case, once removed, it MUST NOT be used again, and the new replacement has to be torqued to somewhere in the region of 220 ft.lbs.- the equipment needed for this is normally considered to be beyond the average man's D.I.Y. tool-kit.
