Hi

Not sure why Joby resurrected this posting but here goes anyway. I'm probably replying to my own question!

Brynich caravan park was a beautiful park however, I didn't rate the wardens very much, not very friendly. The facilities were excellent but they didn't really like people using them. (Any alcohol found in the campsite fridges would be removed, half the showers and toilets in each block locked, I used the washing machine and got daggers because it meant it would be running whilst cleaning the block was in progress). My impeccably behaved daughter and her friend (aged 13) sat on the swings and were told if they did that again, we would all be thrown off site.

They quoted one tarrif on the phone and when I arrived, the tariff was much higher.

I wouldn't go back again.

Regards.

Lh

Hey leave Joby alone, he has seen sense in coming to my fair land to live. Anyway although his posting may be late the information which can be obtained from late postings could be useful for the coming season as there could be reduced spade work required in selecting suitable sites, technical information, etc., etc. He is only trying to be of help and the forum could benefit from his opinions.

With reference to your comment about sites and spade work Colin we have come a long way since then. We have an electric flush loo in our van with bum fodder on a roll. No more going out in the night with a torch digging holes. :OP

Very funny you smart a**se. Perhaps the choice of words were not appropriate to the point I was trying to make but the gist of the matter is that any information whether late or otherwise can be of benefit to someone or other for future reference. Regarding your comment about bum fodder I thought fodder was a material which is eaten, should I be correct it would appear that not only do you talk through your backside but you also eat through it.

Fodder as in feed. Its an agricultural word I picked up off the peasants working the land Colin and yes I'm good at talking through my posterior. Not tried eating through it though. I could go on but the "holier than thou's" on this site might tell me off :O(

Lord B in some of your postings you do have the habit sometimes of suffering with foot and mouth disease - every time you open your mouth you put your foot in it. However on the whole I find your postings, sometimes witty, quite a tonic, therefore my comments to you regarding fodder etc. were meant in the best possible taste and no offence was intended to you good nature or personality. Please at this time of festive greetings forgive me once again.

Us serfs know our place in society and should we insults our Lords of the Realm we must make amends and either make a sincere apology or pay the penalty. I also had a vision of you being at Offa's **** (isn't that an expression for a female who has unusual sexual overtones towards her own sex?) trying to fend off us Celts once again.
