We are sailing to cherbourg on june 1st and will be heading for the grand large at les pioux for a couple of days then would like to find a beach side site in brittany . Can anyone help ?

My recommendation would be Camping Du Letty in Benodet. A super beachside site which is my family's favourite site in the whole of Europe!!! I have put full reviews on the UK Campsite and Touring and tenting websites if you want to read more.

I have done the journey from Cherbourg. The AA website routeplanner will do you a route plan to the actual campsite if you input Camping Du Letty as the destination.

Have a super time in Brittany wherever you end up.

We sailed Plymouth to Roskoff and stayed at Camp Du Letty. Try www.campingduletty.com. I will agree with Will as it is a fantastic site right on the beach and so clean. Not only the site but the beach and town of Benodet and surrounding district. It is fantastic. One thing though visited Brest and was very disappointed - not worth the drive up.
