Hi Paul, I would have thought everything would have been included. If you look at the picture in the Towsure catalogue it looks like its all there.

HI Paul. Jasper is right, it fits beween the ball and the bar

and comes with the stabiliser kit.We are very pleased with our

bulldog,we had to use a bulldog becauce we have 4x4 with spare wheel, its in the way for a hitch stabiliser, still find it hard to see how a hitch stabiliser

with 4 little pads can be as affective as a steel blade and friction pad

with 2/3 times the friction area, perhaps thats why they want

another

Paul didn't say whether the towbar is a bolt-on towball type or the swan neck variety. The question would be understandable if it's the latter, but there are adapters available for them, too.

By the way, Rob, the performance of integrated stabilisers is covered by international standards. Among other things, this gives towbar and car manufacturers parameters by which to design the towbar and the vehicle underbody structure. Although these standards do not apply to blade stabilisers like the Bulldog, it would be folly for manufacturers of such stabilisers not to limit the performance of their products to the same standards. Much higher stiffness could result in structural problems. This may not be an issue with the Terrano in question, but certainly could be for some saloon cars.

Hi Lutz international standards you say, this must come under

the new standard for clutch failer if used on anything other

then a perfectly flat road ,turbo failure after the first time

you pull the van to Spain,or plug in any thing electical into

the car,it would be nice to think car manufacturer think of us,

but our hobby requires a car to do things its not designed to do,

have you noticed how much it is to have a tow bar fitted to a new car,are they trying to tell us something.
