Bunk Guard - Fleetwood

Hi, I have a 1998 Fleetwood Countryside 165-5 and due to iminient arrival of another baby we want to move our son to the bunk bed. My Fleetwood manual says there should be a bunk guard with the van but we cannot find it so presume it has been lost in previous ownership. Please can anyone enlighten me if there really should be a bunk guard, if so I could possibly track down in breakers yards. I have looked at aftermarket products but they do not seem big enough to contain our boisterous young son. Many thanks

My Fleetwood Colchester 1999 has a piece of wood about 30inches long,8inches high and about 3/4 inch thick with two flat metal pins attached that slot into the corresponding sockets mounted on the inner edge of the top bunk adjacent to where the metal ladder clips on.Hopes this helps.
