burford cc site, oxfordshire

Site :- Typical CC site. Well laid out, clean toilet block (with mop).
Area:- Boring as Hell. Wildlife park across the road expensive for the little thats there, if you need a supermarket its miles away,you can`t really even walk from the site as theres nowhere to go to and you`re on main roads with no footpaths. Even the Cotswolds traditional allure is very thin in Burford (after you`ve driven there and found somewhere to park)
Pitches:- Spacious and varied,grass and hardstanding.
Been once, won`t go again.
There are better places to stay in the area.

I found the site quite okay very well laid out, small but pleasent dog walk,
If you know where to go the supermarkets are not far away, (we travel at home 5 miles to our local tesco) Plenty to see the villages around are very pretty.
You have to remember the combination numbers to get into the toilet block, which is positioned quite high this stops the younger children running in and out with no supervision.
Being ex RAF I was interested in the large aircraft which fly around the site.
