I've read good reviews on the site itself but does anyone know if there is good walking and cycling routes available nearby?

I have not been (going over the bank holiday though), but the reviews I have seen mention the country park for walking and cycling.

There is also a cycle route on an old railway also sherwood forest trails are 12 miles away.

Looks like there are trails close to the site which is great. Means we can cut down the car use and we don't have to cycle/walk 12 miles before we get to any trails!
