C L SITE AROUND THE ROUEN AREA

Hello All, We are looking for a CL ste around the Rouen area for 2-3 nights mid Aug, can any one help?

Why would you expect to find a CL site in France? Surely a CL site is a Caravan Club designation?

You won't get CL's in France - what you do get is Camping a la Ferme (which can be similar, though not restricted to a very small number of pitches usually). There is a website Bienvenue a la Ferme, where you can select an area and then look for farms with camping facilities - but there's no guarantee that it will be anything like a CL in this country.

South of Rouen, there is a very good municipal, which is just off the A13, at Pont - de - L'Arche.
When you get near to the village, I would advise you follow the signs to the site rather than use Sat Nav. The roads are very narrow, especially when towing a caravan.

Hi,
We stopped at pont deL'Arche in September on the way back to Eurotunnel. Nice site on the riverbank but yes do follow the campsite signs.
