We use the cadac at home and at the van, at first cleaning it looked like a major issue but then we found teflon BBQ mats which go on the griddle, nothing gets baked on and they're a doddle to clean, and you can cook stuff on them that you'd normally need a pan for, such as fried eggs.

It works for us, but at the end of the day it is one of a number of variations on a gas barbecue. It is not cheap, but seems well made and is easy to use.
If it fits your budget and is what you want then go for it, if not there is plenty of different types available out there.

Just invested in a cadac for our weekend rally trips we were at the big yorkshire meet last year at wetherby grange park and there was a cadac cooking comp sponsored by cadac and this lady cooking on her cadac made a full sunday dinner inclueing yorkshire puddings now that was worth watching how she did it
