Full marks to customer services again ! you can never be to safe with gas....probably why only low pressure used for caravans....with all my oxy / acetylene / propane cylinders they have to have by law have a blow back valve. But you still have to tighten them correctly. This "blow-back" is what happened on Tuesday for you,Always worthwile as well to make sure no grease / fat has got onto the connections as this could cause the same....TerryA word of advice always make sure that the connection from the gas to the cadac is screwed tightly with a spanner or plyers. We had an accident with our Cadac on Tuesday night where there was a light back and it ignited the plastic casing around the ignition button. Having tightened the nut with a spanner we are not sure what caused this but having spoke to Cadac they have said there must have been a gas leak. Cadac customer services have been fantastic and are replacing the full burner without charge even though it was only the plastic casing that was damaged. Great customer service.
